By not creating a specific gripping point, fine cuts were applied throughout the barrel. At the main gripping position, vertical cuts were applied to minimize the rolling of the dart when held. The key feature focused on this dart is the angle of the taper at the main gripping area. Continuous refinements were made to find the optimal taper angle to allow the dart to fly into ideal trajectory from the end of the take back. This resulted in 5 different angles of the taper to create the dart that puts emphasis on control and ideal balance.
