Varying gripping points between Soft tip and Steel tip barrel.
Not too grippy nor too loose, pursuing the perfect release.

The main gripping area’s design varies between the Soft tip vs Steel tip barrel. In the Soft tip barrel, dot cuts were applied within the ring cuts to allow the dart to be propelled forward with a clean release and with ease. In the Steel tip barrel, triple ring cuts were applied between micro ring cuts to create a visible gripping point to increase replicability of throw. The design of the gripping areas were carefully thought out to provide the perfect tension and balance. At the front of each model, in order to assist the release, knurled cuts were applied. As Tomoya Goto wraps the whole barrel with his grip, this model was carefully designed to suit his grip.
